Hello People!
Hello, my name is Thomas Edward Daniel Joyce.
I live in Downingtown, PA, a growing town near Philadelphia.
This is my first resume site.
Address: 13 Beaver Run Rd., Downingtown, PA 19335-2277
I am a junior Sociology student at Susquehanna University, taking a minor in Computer Science. I graduated Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA in May 2008.
I also am interested in music. Here is my musical background: I took several years of piano lessons starting around 2nd grade (probably through 5th grade). I played trumpet in grade school and high school band (Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown (Philadelphia area)), taking lessons from 4th grade through 12th grade, including playing for the Honor band in grade school (I don't remember if it was districts or what). Messed around with a guitar from 8th grade onward, began taking it seriously learning chords once I got to college (it has become my primary instrument). Junior and senior year of high school began playing bass guitar. Senior year of high school, I took a year of music theory and I sang in my high school's mixed chorus. I'm currently in University Chorale and taking voice lessons with Jeff Fahnestock (since last spring semester).
I have completed several web development projects. A few examples are:
- Language Arts Links - A directory of resources for grade school Language Arts teachers.
- SmartWork - A portable solution for grade schools to enhance communication between students, teachers, and administration regarding homework, tests, assignments, or any other type of information pertinent.
- MyDragonFlyGifts - A custom shopping cart solution for an independent gift sales web site.
- CapitalTeas - A custom shopping cart for a tea sales company (solution no longer in use).
Some other things I have done include:
