It's Not my Fault (I'm Not to Blame!)

It's not my fault, that I cannot forget you.
I'm not to blame, I don't think so--not this time.
And I see, you look and cannot see me.
Oh, why don't you find--what's right by your face,
-b- Until my mind moves on--i'll be here when you see
    That right in front of you, with open arms, stands me.

And though it seems, I should wave my flag and give up,
Move on, find greener ground--I've looked and cannot 
       find, not one more divine than you.
So I wait, dream and hope--that one day you'll see...

It's not my fault, that we're destined to be - 
I'm not to blame, that your beauty has enveloped me.
And I try, to pretend there's nothing more...
But ever since I met you, the midnight sky has moved--
-b- Can't you see the heart, and our names in the stars?
    They're telling us to not let go and make every moment last...

I hope you hear these words I sing to you, and
That they make you think about the hope of you and me,
       but--should you decide, that you disagree,
Please don't lie, though it hurts, it may be best for me.

I hope that it's my fault, that you ever thought of me,
That I'm to blame, that i love you without shame.
And that I may know, that you feel the same too,
And we will stand endlessly in embrace.
